Out of surgery

I just talked to Holly and things went really well today. I'm not even going to begin to try a medical update; Jonathan's supposed to update their website some time tonight or tomorrow. Check their website at http://themockexpress.com for more information. I just wanted everyone to know that Corbin is out of surgery and resting. He should be sedated and asleep for the next 24 hours or so and in ICU until Thursday or Friday. The doctors seemed pleased with the surgery and it sounds like it was best case scenario for a situation like this. Like I said, check out their website for in-depth information.

Prayer List

We just heard word that Corbin had his pre-op tests today and everything looks good for tomorrow. His is the first surgery on the docket in the morning. Here's the prayer list as we have it:

Friends of Corbin

We've created this blog as a way to set up a prayer schedule for the day of Corbin's surgery. The surgery is planned for Tuesday, March 27 in San Antonio. Obviously we want to be praying before and after the surgery, but we were thinking that it would be a good idea to have an organized prayer schedule on the actual day.

We would like everyone to be praying from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Pick a full hour between 6:00 and 10:00 PM to pray specifically and fervently for Corbin (i.e., from 7:00 to 8:00 or 10:00 to 11:00, etc.). If you would like to extend it until later, then please do. Corbin is expected to be in ICU for at least the first 24 hours after the surgery, as we understand it, so I'm sure they would love to have people praying through the night. What we'd like to request is that in the comments section of this blog, you say a time you'll be praying for Corbin on that day along with a little note of encouragement to Jonathan and Holly. We'll try to organize a schedule for them so they know who is praying when.
