We've created this blog as a way to set up a prayer schedule for the day of Corbin's surgery. The surgery is planned for Tuesday, March 27 in San Antonio. Obviously we want to be praying before and after the surgery, but we were thinking that it would be a good idea to have an organized prayer schedule on the actual day. We would like everyone to be praying from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Pick a full hour between 6:00 and 10:00 PM to pray specifically and fervently for Corbin (i.e., from 7:00 to 8:00 or 10:00 to 11:00, etc.). If you would like to extend it until later, then please do. Corbin is expected to be in ICU for at least the first 24 hours after the surgery, as we understand it, so I'm sure they would love to have people praying through the night. What we'd like to request is that in the comments section of this blog, you say a time you'll be praying for Corbin on that day along with a little note of encouragement to Jonathan and Holly. We'll try to organize a schedule for them so they know who is praying when.

We know that all of us who love Corbin are aching with the Mocks that he will have to be in so much pain. We also know that this surgery will really help him and we're praying for a swift recovery. We pray that God will be glorified during this time. Thank you for joining us in those prayers.

I'll be praying from 10-11:00 am. We love that little boy so very much. We thank God for the team of doctors that are so passionate about helping children in this way. I will be praying for them as they work. I will also pray that the Lord will give you peace through a long day. I pray that the smile on Corbin's face will bless and brighten every one he comes into contact with at the hospital. The nurses and doctors don't know who is about to come into their lives, what a treat they are receiving in Corbin and his amazing parents.
I love you all and will continue my prayers today, the day of the surgery, and through the days after just as I have from the first time I heard there was going to be a little Mock boy. And the world has never been the same since he came along! God bless you with confidence and peace.

Hey guys, I have forwarded the blog address to many here in Amarillo. We will all be praying.
Jonathan and Holly, my wife and I came to Central after you left, I think. I wanted you to know the experience of our daughter. When she was 11 she developed scoliosis. By the time she was 14 her rib cage was tucked under her hip bone. She had rods placed on either side of her spine and has very little curvature. She has had no side-effects from her surgery. In fact, a year later she went back cheerleading. She is now expecting her first child! Hers is a real success story. My wife and I will be praying for Corbin and you.
